Environmentally Friendly
Resort Care uses the most environmentally friendly solvents in their cleaning. In addition, we encourage hanger recycling and have several other recycling processes in place.
GreenEarth Cleaning
GreenEarth is a silicone based, odorless liquid. It is entirely non-toxic, non-irritating to the skin and non-sensitising. It is so safe as a cleaning solvent that it's not regulated by the EPA, nor does it require permits to use. GreenEarth contains the same base ingredient as many shampoos, conditioners, skin creams and deodorants. As a cleaning solvent, it's extremely gentle on fabrics, not aggressive toward dyes,, and leaves no solvent odor. When GreenEarth is released into the environment it degrades to sand and trace amounts of water and carbon dioxide.
SystemK4 Cleaning
SystemK4 was invented by Kreussler in Germany. It is a completely halogen-free solvent. It is especially good at removing fat, oil, and grease-based stains as well as water soluble soil. Textiles have a smooth feel because there is less fiber abrasion during cleaning. Just as GreenEarth, System K4 does not require any hazardous labeling, is completely biodegradable, leaves no unpleasant odors, is eco-friendly and dermatologically tested for "skin friendliness".
